V Festival Sold Out In 2 Hours

Tickets for this years V Festival sold out in less than two hours organisers have announced. The tickets that went on sale this morning (Friday 5th March) at 9am sold out in record time as the festival this year celebrates its 15th anniversary.

Fans were said to have been so desperate to get tickets to the dual festival, which is held both at Weston Park in Stafford and Chelmsford Essex, that phone lines in Wolverhampton were clogged, with local press speculating that the scramble for tickets was to blame.

The event which takes place between Saturday 21st to Sunday 22nd August will be headlined by Kasabian and Kings of Leon, with acts such as  Cheryl Cole, Calvin Harris and The Prodigy joining them.

Fans have been reminded to be vigilant about fake ticket selling sites, with Viagogo, the ONLY official ticket sharing site.

Did you manage to get tickets or were you one of the unlucky fans who were unsuccessful? Leave us a comment below.
