Bez joins Crewe’s headKase Festival

An Indie music festival is taking place over the May bank holiday weekend.

Former Happy Mondays dancer Bez has been confirmed as one of the big-name performers at the headKASE music festival in Crewe.

Organisers have lined up around 15 acts over the four days from Friday, May 28 , to take to the stage at Square One, in Mill Street.

The event will play host to a special homecoming show for The Delta Fiasco, a three-piece electronic outfit originally formed in Haslington in 2004, who have been making a name for themselves in Los Angeles. Other acts include South Cheshire bands Bleached Wail, Sumo Kings and Troops Of Mafeking.

The event – created in conjunction with headKASE hair salon, in Nantwich Road – will replace the Volume Festival, which has run for the past two years.

Spokesman Tim Dougill, said: “We are extremely excited about The Delta Fiasco’s homecoming.”

Wristbands cost £2 per day or £7 for the four-day event, and are available from Square One or headKASE.
