Stoke Gigs Clubnight in The Sentinel

We at Stoke Gigs HQ talk to press, bands and promoters on a regular basis, but it came as a suprise when we found out we were going to be featured in The Sentinel (largely because our editor is a columnist there). Today the guys have given us some nice coverage. You can read it below.

Every city has its own unique music scene – but nowhere has one compared to Stoke-on-Trent.

With dozens of bands performing at venues across the city, they are something to be proud of.

There are also a host of club nights for different tastes, varying from metal to indie and beyond.

As of Monday, a new club night is being set up by The Sentinel‘s very own gig columnist, Lyndsey Oliver.

// Stoke Gigs starts at 9pm at the Fat Cat Cafe Bar, Hanley, and is set to include performances from Dead Radio Society and headline act Rebel Symphony – formerly The Rough Charm and The Boothen.

There will also be DJ duo Pulse playing indie anthems.

Lyndsey, who has set up her own music website, says Stoke-on-Trent is a great musical city.

“We have got an amazing local scene,” she says.

“We have great venues, amazing bands and the fact that you’re never stuck for a good gig is testament to this.”

Entry is £3 on the door.
