Wrongpop 34‏

This month marks Wrongpops last offering of 2010 and the last one for a few months after that, numero 34 carries on the tradition of amazing bands and great company one last time this year. If you want to know who’s playing then read on…………..

LAMO

Siblings of noise come back home after a long absence selling oatcakes and their bodies in the big smoke, returning to the motherland with new & heavy tunes to kick things off.

THAT FUCKING TANK

Leeds DIY faithful duo, who last played this town a few years back and have been on WPs hitlist for a while now return with songs from their ‘Tankology’ album (Gringo Records) and much more. Two man barrage of drums and geetar that sound like war.

PART CHIMP

For those whose faces haven’t melted off yet, Londons favoiurite noisy bastards are back in Stoke with new 7″ single ‘You decide / Big bird’ (Gringo Records) and 2009’s album ‘thriller’ (Rock Action Records). Ear splitting filthy rock for the masses.

With added vinyl tunage between bands / until 1am supplied by Mr Robert Hunt & co, and special drinks offers for the boozy, this night will be one people will be talking about for a long time. After that, organiser Stephen Clarke is off for a few months to find the mysterious cities of gold in the giant golden condor that’s been gathering dust in his back garden for a while now (or so he says).

It’s £5 on the door (no tickets) and doors open at 8pm, with Lamo on at 9pm.
