Cloud 9 was created by Congleton residents Martin Wheelton, Nick Mullis, Dan Biddulph and Ian Whiston, who wanted to create something extraordinary for the people of Congleton. Nick said, ‘Cloud 9 is so unique and special because it has the feel of a small community event whilst still attracting people from all around the country.’
Cloud 9 makes every effort to support home grown north west talent along with established acts from around the country. As well as the main stage Cloud 9 will now incorporate a second live music stage, two dance tents and a full on house party and chill out tent. Plenty to keep people of all ages entertained rain or shine!
Sunderlands finest rock band The Futureheads will be headlining this years Cloud 9. From Leeds is The Sunshine Underground, Manchesters hi-energy indie pop stars The Answering Machine, and all the way from Italy are Too Young To Love offering a psychedelic dream pop extravaganza.
Funkademia, Scratch Perverts and Jordan Suckley will be headlining the dance tents along with many more acts lighting up the golden fields. So long live Summer on Cloud 9, and float on down.
