There’s four good reasons to visit The Swan, St Edwards Street, Leek on 5th August with four great bands lined up to play a great set.

Potteries band The Fortunas headline with their experimental indie rock sound. The band has established a great following playing at venues like the Glebe and the Sugarmill to name a few.

They are joined by five piece Dakota Beats who hail from Dudley and have just released a new 3 track EP ‘No New Faces’. While the band only formed in January they are already becoming a name to contend with on the indie pop scene with songs like Fire Desire described as having a catchy early Arctic Monkeys riff.

Playing alongside them will be Stoke band Dirty Money. Their music has been described as haunting and inspiring in the same instance, and they have an extraordinary range at their disposal and a unique sound.

The night will be kicked off by Elly Kingdon an amazing young vocal talent not to be missed.

This line up proves to be the makings of a great night of live music. You can check out all off the bands through the Facebook page ‘The Situation’. Tickets for the event are £4 and can be booked by contacting The Swan on 01538 382081.
