Stoke Gigs Needs You!

Since its conception in early 2010, Stoke Gigs has come a long way. We can proudly boast that we are now one of the biggest local music sites in Stoke! We’ve taken part in the Guardian Student Media Awards 2 years running, been involved in local music competitions as well as the UKs biggest music festival, Oxjam, and even hosted our own club nights.

We have forged strong links with local venues and artists, but it’s simply not enough! We’re now looking to expand even further, but we need your help!

We’re looking to take on brand new contributors to help make the Stoke Gigs website even better. You’ll be able to post some great stuff on the site, including news, reviews, guides, features, and everything else you see here on Stoke Gigs. You’ll also benefit from your own bylines, as well as being on our contributors page with your own biog, photo, and a link to your own blog.

*What we’re looking for

– People who are enthusiastic about the Stoke music and entertainment scene and everything it has to offer. We pride ourselves on being a community where people come to celebrate everything from the latest comedians to the latest band!

– Talented individuals with a flair for writing, and a decent camera phone to get some pictures uploaded to the site.

You don’t have to have previous experience, just a desire to contribute and support your local scene! To get involved email us at with GET INVOLVED in the subject heading or contact the editor directly at
